The origin of our company name; why we're called "Kairen"?
The word of Laozi, an ancient Chinese philosopher said,
“The highest good is like water.”
We wanted to learn "the way of water" where it flows from the mountain to the sea. We named our company "Kai (sea) ren (extend)" to signify this meaning.
■Learning from the way of water
【Flexibility】
Water has fluidity when poured into vessels, it conforms to whatever shape it is put into, whether round or geometrically complex.
Kairen also wants to be a flexible company that can respond to changes with the times, the environment, and to any customer.
【Humility】
People do not like to compare themselves with others and keep their position lower than others. But water will naturally flow from a high place to a low place. The ocean is a low place, spreading its hands open to accept diversity extensively. Kairen also wants to have this humble posture like the water and the sea.
【Salutary】
A drop of water falls on to the ground as rain, a small amount of water turns to fresh water, gathering to become a stream. Water is the life source offering existence to humans, animals, plants, and everything. Kairen also wants to become a good source to society, constantly pursuing usefulness, while being irreplaceable to the earth and our lives.
【Extend】
The sea is connected to the world. Kairen also connects to customers worldwide, with a global sense, we connect to good work. On top of that, we also connect with employees, family members, associates, and local communities - putting in our thoughts that we are moving forward together towards the future.
