Study Session

【Kairen Mokkeikai】

Even when reading the same book, every impression is interesting.

We have been conducting study meetings about employee development once a month for two years.
We read a monthly magazine called "Chichi" issued by a publisher exploring anthropology and we share impressions.
The magazine introduces valuable experiences from the people every month regardless of fame, renown or genre. Sometimes we apply the practical experiences from the magazine that may be of a lesson to learn in work or life. At the study session, we learn about the importance of having the courage to speak, even if it is difficult to say to one another. At the moment that it is not obscurant, it unleashes your own thoughts, and a change will be caused by feelings. The past trauma and the walls minds build that kept people isolated are gradually chipped away, and with the passing of time, it changes other employees' views, too.

【Kairen Mokkeikai Performance】

It is important to honestly open ourselves without hiding our personalities.

A team will be picked through a drawing. We then name each group. Each group will perform the skit related to the group name and compete in the contest. This allows employees to team up with other employees in different sections and communicate and interact with people they normally wouldn’t at work. This also helps everyone learn the corporate style as we all enter the competition in order to win as a team.

【In-House Penmanship Practice】

Among the senior employees, there are those who study and strive since this type of session was last experienced during high school.

We are implementing a "penmanship practice session" every week to stimulate challenging spirit.

Kairen Cafeteria

Benefits of having lunch together with everyone

Together we eat, talk, laugh, and get healthier.

The importance of "eating together".
Eating the same meal at the same place brings unity and happiness.
We believe that this unity contributes to the smooth flow in the work process that prevents "foreign substance contamination". We’ve been doing this way since the inception of our company.

  • We have an employee cafeteria, and both the chairman and the president eat together with the employees. It helps bring everyone together regardless of their positions and share ideas.

  • Together we eat, talk, laugh, and get healthier.

  • We often eat nutritious dishes and smile often, too.

Employee Dormitory

We have an employees' dormitory. It is located within the premises of the company. On the first floor, there is a venue for Kairen Mokkeikai that is held once a month and private rooms on the second floor.

Company Events

The employee participation rate is 100%. Everyone enjoys our in-house party.
We work hard but play hard, too. We work diligently but when it comes to time to have fun, we enjoy to the fullest. That is Kairen's style.

  • We hold a beer drinking party once a month.

  • At the year-end party, everyone gets to participate showcasing performances, such as singing, dancing, cosplaying, or even men dressing as women; everyone will practice hard for that day and will be presenting on the same day.

  • Even our president, Sachie Nagai, performs at the party.

  • Company trip

In the summer of 2017, we went on a company trip for one night with 57 employees.

Foreign Trainees

They study Japanese hard. Foreign trainees are hardworking people.

At Kairen, we also have a program accepting technical interns from overseas, such as the Philippines and Vietnam. Not only trainees but also many foreigners living in Japan work for us.
It is often thought that communication is quite difficult with foreigners due to culture differences. Since we have a different way of thinking from ordinary Japanese people, we prefer to engage in conversation more to understand each other, and then new ideas are shared, connecting to the revitalization of the entire company.
